As a project engineer in Fire at Siemens, you will play a key role in coordinating and driving our projects from start to finish. You will keep all parts together: planning, technology, administration, invoicing, and closure, ensuring that everything is delivered according to customer expectations and our high-quality standards. You will be the vital link that makes collaboration work between technology, customer, and project team, contributing to our fire protection systems making a real difference.

Your base will be at our Norrköping office, but your work area will extend across Östergötland.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the implementation of your projects and their economy, focusing on resource and margin goals. KPIs you will be measured against include margin deviation, customer satisfaction, upselling, billability, and daily time reporting.
  • Perform technical processing, programming, and commissioning
  • Manage the procurement of materials and services
  • Drive upselling in existing projects
  • Represent Siemens to customers and partners
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Swedish law
  • Identify and manage risks, quality, and safety issues
  • You will report to the office manager and collaborate with internal teams

We believe you will thrive and succeed if you:

  • Have previous experience in project management, preferably within fire or security systems
  • Have a strong business sense and a clear customer focus.
  • Enjoy a leadership role and find it easy to communicate and collaborate, both internally and externally.
  • Have good industry knowledge and understanding of system relationships within buildings
  • Possess very good technical skills in technical processing, programming, commissioning, and testing.
  • Understand contract law and economics
  • Have experience with construction projects
  • Are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a B driver's license.
