Home Care Service, Northern Gotland

The home care service in Fårösund, Lärbro, and Slite operates in three different parts of northern Gotland, with varying environments and conditions.

You will primarily be placed in one of the areas, but it is important that you are flexible and can support other home care services as needed. Together, we collaborate across area boundaries to ensure good care, quality, and continuity for our clients.

The work involves moving around the local area and working in clients' homes, where you meet people in their daily lives and provide support, care, and security. Workdays are characterized by variation, responsibility, and close contact with both clients and colleagues.

Each home care group consists of about 20 employees, with a mix of ages and varying experiences. With us, nursing assistants and residential assistants work in teams where collaboration is a natural part of everyday life. We value an open work climate where we learn from each other, support each other, and together develop the operations. There is room to take responsibility, contribute your own ideas, and feel job satisfaction in daily work.

We are currently looking for three new employees for Fårösund, one for Lärbro, and three for Slite.

Your Tasks

As a nursing assistant/residential assistant, you will, among other things:

• Provide support, motivation, and assistance to clients based on individual needs and approved interventions
• Perform personal care in the client's home
• Carry out medical interventions on delegation from authorized personnel
• Assist with escorting, shopping, and household-related tasks such as cleaning and laundry
• Work as a care contact, responsible for communication between clients, relatives, and the organization
• Establish, follow up, and work based on implementation plans
• Document interventions and events in daily work
• Collaborate with home healthcare, rehabilitation, case managers, and other home care groups to ensure safe and good care
• Work flexibly and, if necessary, collaborate and support other home care groups in northern Gotland

Who Are You?

To be employed as a nursing assistant, you must meet the requirements to use the protected professional title according to current regulations. It is an advantage if you have worked in the nursing profession and/or elderly care.

To be employed as a residential assistant, a high school education is desirable but not required. It is an advantage if you have some form of education focused on care and assistance, such as a care assistant, as well as previous experience from similar tasks.

A B driver's license is a requirement.

You have personal maturity and are confident in yourself and your professional role. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and have the ability to structure and prioritize your work effectively. You are flexible and can adapt to changing conditions, while also having good collaboration skills and contributing to an open and respectful work climate. You are service-oriented, caring, and have a genuine interest in helping other people, and you work calmly and systematically with a focus on providing clients with safe and good care.

In accordance with the new language requirement, you need to have a good command of Swedish in both spoken and written form to ensure safe care, good, and accurate documentation.
