Your daily life as a property engineer

In just a few years, the security and defense political conditions have significantly changed the national defense policy. This means that the Fortifications Agency is in strong growth. As a property engineer with us, you will be part of the Northern Region's Technical Unit, which consists of 19 employees. As a property engineer, you will carry out assignments for the manager based on a project-oriented working method, planning, implementing, and following up maintenance measures and owner-related investment projects within the property portfolio based on a budget.

The assignment also includes status inspections, property documentation, and cost analyses within the framework of the management assignment, as well as participating in the procurement of consultants and contractors. The work includes travel within and outside the region.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree, high school education, or equivalent education or knowledge that the employer deems equivalent. You have several years of experience in the property industry as a property engineer, project manager, or technical manager with a focus on electrical/property automation. You have a high security awareness and good knowledge of administrative support systems and Office programs. You also have very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. A class B driver's license is a requirement.

It is advantageous to have education and/or experience in LOU, LUFS, BAS P/U, contract law. We would like you to have experience in project management within the property sector. It is also to your advantage if you have knowledge of or experience with the Armed Forces. If you also have experience working in a security-classified position or experience with security-protected procurement with security protection agreements, that is also an advantage.

About the employment

The position is a permanent employment and may begin with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a military position. The place of employment is Luleå. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. A security review with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
