Are you looking for a unique opportunity to lead a strategic regulatory project from the ground up? Are you curious about working with the EU's new framework for recovery and resolution of insurance companies?

At Swedbank, you have the opportunity to:
  • Lead the implementation of the IRRD Directive (Insurance Recovery and Resolution Directive) and build our resolution planning frameworks from scratch.

  • Coordinate cross-functional workflows within resolution, e.g., data, agreements, liquidity, finance, and communication with representatives from other units within Swedbank Insurance.

  • Analyze and interpret EIOPA's technical standards and the EU Directive and translate them into concrete internal processes, policies, and tools that ensure we are ready for the implementation date of January 30, 2027.

  • Build and maintain relationships with the supervisory authority and resolution authority, as well as prepare board materials and regulatory submissions.

  • Work at the interface between regulatory compliance, risk management, strategy, and operational activities.

In this role, you need:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in law, economics, finance, or a related field.

  • Solid experience in project management of complex regulatory implementation projects, preferably with at least 5-7 years of experience in the financial sector or insurance industry.

  • An understanding of insurance operations, risk management, and regulatory frameworks (Solvency II is highly desirable).

  • The ability to lead projects with many stakeholders and parallel deliveries.
