Stockholm Exergi is the energy company for the people of Stockholm, and we have about 800 employees who work every day to reduce the climate impact of Stockholm residents. We provide heating to over 800,000 Stockholmers, and our 300 km long district heating network is the hub for the community benefits we create. We have now begun the construction of a carbon capture facility at our bioenergy plant in Värtan, with the potential to capture 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is more than what Stockholm's road traffic emits during the same period. We need more skilled employees and hope that you want to join us on our Exergi journey.
What can we offer you?
We are looking for summer interns in various parts of the organization; perhaps you will find a role that feels interesting?
Analyst in Distribution
As an analyst, you will support the department with quality work, data analysis, simulation work, and various statistical follow-ups. Your work will include verifying various information and working in Excel along with related analysis work. You will belong to the distribution development unit. We see that you have an interest in and are currently studying chemistry, engineering, or energy systems.
Financial Trader in Energy Trading
In this role, you will belong to energy trading, and your main task will involve systematic work. You will work in Excel and extract data series from various systems. We see that you have an interest in and are currently studying finance, trading, and/or economics related to this role.
This position is temporary, and you will be based in our office environment at Campus, Hjorthagen. Please note that some of our positions require a security clearance.

Requirements
- Ongoing post-secondary education in technology with a focus on finance, trading, energy, chemistry, engineering, or other education combined with relevant experience for the role
- Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel
- Good communication skills and can express yourself well in both spoken and written form, in both Swedish and English
- Swedish citizenship
Meet a colleague
– When I work nights and the clock strikes three in the morning, my focus is on ensuring that Stockholmers have enough hot water for their morning showers when they wake up in a couple of hours.
