This is what you do as a Strategic Buyer - Indirect Purchasing

As a Strategic Buyer, you will work to develop and drive Jula's purchasing of indirect materials and services. You analyze needs and the market, lead end-to-end procurement and negotiation processes, support the business with effective purchasing solutions, and ensure long-term value and cost-effectiveness. In this role, you ensure that contracts are current and followed according to Jula's guidelines, monitor supplier performance, and develop business relationships.

Furthermore, you are responsible for ensuring that the business system is updated with correct product and supplier data and collaborate closely with internal functions to understand future needs and translate them into purchasing activities. You will also identify risks throughout the purchasing cycle and develop relevant action plans, contribute to the development of working methods, routines, and templates, and support operational tasks in the purchasing process when needed. You will work together with colleagues across all parts of Jula, and cross-functional collaboration is essential for success in this role.

This is your background and experience
To succeed in this role, we believe you have at least a couple of years of experience in purchasing within indirect cost categories, including driving larger negotiations. We prefer that you have experience from retail. You have high digital competence and familiarity with business and monitoring systems. You also have very good knowledge of English and Excel.

Good to know
The position is a permanent full-time employment based at Jula's headquarters in Skara, with the possibility to work from another location a couple of days a week. Jula has a collective agreement with Unionen for white-collar workers.
