Your Mission

Since procurements are conducted in project form, you as a purchaser will be the project leader throughout the procurement process. The process encompasses the entire chain from strategic planning, analysis, and procurement work to ongoing contract management. You will have overall responsibility for all parts of the procurement process within your area through the project. Together with colleagues, you will develop and simplify strategies and routines within the area, and you will also participate in improvement work regarding deliveries, quality, and costs. All of Västra Götalandsregionen will be your field of work, which entails some travel.

To Succeed in the Role, You Need:

• An academic degree in a relevant field or experience deemed equivalent.
• We would like you to have experience in procurement work and purchasing. Experience with tasks within Västra Götalandsregionen and relevant processes is an advantage.

To succeed, you should have strong collaboration skills and be accustomed to working in teams. If you are also attentive, positive, and a good listener, you will fit into our team. Experience working in a politically governed organization is seen as a positive. You express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English, and you have good proficiency in MS Office.

We see you as an initiative-taking, business-minded, and flexible person. You are solution-oriented and have a desire to contribute to the development of our operations. You enjoy both planning and following up, and you have strong communication skills. We place great emphasis on your ability to drive and lead projects. You act in a trustworthy manner and maintain a professional demeanor.
