About the job

In the palliative department, we care for patients in the final stages of life and work closely with their relatives. Today, we have 8 care places, all in single rooms, and there are good opportunities for relatives to stay overnight if desired. We are a team of nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors. We collaborate closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and social workers. We also have a Palliative Team that maintains contact with the patient at home.

For us, it is important to work on development and continuous improvements to provide the best care for our patients, as well as a stimulating work environment for our employees.

We are looking for a kind-hearted, skilled, and caring nurse who enjoys working in an educational and inspiring environment with incredibly competent colleagues. Well-being and community with colleagues are essential for having healthy and harmonious employees. This also leads to even better and safer care for the patients.

We want you, who work with us in the palliative department, to feel that you make a difference every day. A valid nursing degree is required for the position, and if you have a few years of work experience, it is an advantage. Great emphasis will also be placed on personal suitability.

Selection and interviews will take place continuously during the application period.

If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will be part of the Clinical Foundation Year, which is our introduction program. The Clinical Foundation Year is mandatory and lasts for the first year of your employment with us. It includes introduction days, supervision and training days, as well as observation days. The purpose of the Clinical Foundation Year is to create good conditions for newly graduated nurses to strengthen their theoretical knowledge and practice skills, as well as to grow into their new profession.
