Care Assistants Needed for Short-Term Unit

We are looking for four care assistants for our short-term unit as several of our colleagues are moving on to new positions within the municipality!

As an employee with us, you will have a fun and changing assignment.

Since our target group varies based on which clients temporarily stay with us, high demands are placed on your competence and you will have the opportunity to develop as a care assistant. Your assignment includes advanced nursing work, and the content of the days is based on our clients' needs and goals for their stay. With us, you will be part of a competent and engaged team with over 80 years of combined professional experience in healthcare.

We are also in the midst of a comprehensive digitalization journey. Digital tools, mobile phones, digital locks, and smart sensors are used daily, and since our clients stay with us for shorter periods, flexibility and digital competence are important parts of the role.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you need to be a trained care assistant with experience in healthcare, preferably with a focus on short-term care. Previous experience in emergency care, complex patients, multi-sick individuals, or palliative care is an advantage. Since documentation and digitalization are very important parts of the work as a care assistant, you must have good computer skills. The tasks also include communicating with clients, their relatives, and various professionals, which requires you to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing.

We are therefore looking for someone who is flexible and confident in their role as a care assistant and who enjoys that no two days are the same. As a colleague, you find it easy to communicate, collaborate, and take the initiative to drive work forward. You are a team player who sees the whole picture, contributes to a good work environment, and understands the importance of individual and collective responsibility in your professional role. Having a good attitude towards both clients, relatives, and colleagues is a given.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Good to Know

To be called for an interview, you must present a passing grade in Swedish 1 at the high school level or equivalent. If this is missing, you will need to take a digital language test.

Your New Workplace

The short-term unit is centrally located in Partille at Gamla Kronvägen 82. We have 30 places and provide advanced healthcare for clients with extensive care needs.

Our schedule periods are 6 weeks, and you will always work every other weekend (3 out of 6 weekends). Do you want to work more weekends? Each extra shift gives 1,000 SEK gross, and you can take a maximum of 4 extra shifts per schedule period. With us at the short-term unit, the weekend feeling is important, which is why we plan the schedule so that you have day shifts on Fridays before your free weekend - we actively work together for a good balance between work and leisure.
