Are you a licensed physician looking for a residency position in Internal Medicine? Do you have an interest in rural medicine, a person-centered approach, and Close Care? Then we might be the right place for you!

The medical unit at Sollefteå Hospital is a smaller unit with proximity and short decision-making paths. Our area of operation actively works towards the transition to Close Care in collaboration with our municipalities and primary care.

As a resident, you will work both independently and under supervision. In the first year, you will serve at the home hospital. The work arrangement offers variation between the emergency department, inpatient wards, and outpatient clinics. You will be part of the patient-centered team work, and your tasks will include standard ward work. There are good development opportunities, and we offer a training position with the possibility to influence the structure of your education. We provide a study and work environment that offers good conditions for both professional development based on goal descriptions and a sense of belonging. For recovery and balance to leisure time, there are opportunities for wellness and training at the region's gym located at the hospital.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

• Conduct rounds on the ward
• Consultations
• Admissions and discharges
• Primary on-call responsibility in the emergency department both during the day and on-call
• Outpatient work with your own scheduled clinic under supervision
