The position is a fixed-term employment (with a 6-month probation period) from 2026-08-10 to 2027-06-17.

You are a qualified primary school teacher.

You are bilingual, speaking Finnish and Swedish.

You have a strong personal commitment, are good at meeting students' diverse needs, and have the ability to create a positive working environment.

You have a positive attitude towards multilingualism and are curious about Swedish-Finnish culture.

Collaborative work in a team where, among other things, the school's bilingual activities are developed.

Good ICT skills are highly meritorious.

Pedagogical work based on the school's governing documents.

The position includes teaching Swedish in grades 2-3 and English in grade 5.

The role also includes responsibility for the school's Finnish-language library, which means you will be responsible for purchasing Finnish-language books, registering them in the library system, and planning and conducting library lessons for the students.
