Lighting Designer at Fagerhult Belysning Sweden AB
At Fagerhult, you get to be part of something bigger – a place where technology, sustainability, and people meet to create light that makes a difference. We combine 80 years of experience with a strong belief in the future and believe in the power of collaboration, thinking outside the box, and always wanting a little more.
Are you also motivated by designing new lighting solutions and creating beautiful environments with well-being in focus? Then we have an exciting and developing role for you!
We are currently looking for someone to take on the role of Lighting Designer at Fagerhult's Swedish sales company - Fagerhult Belysning Sweden AB. This is a perfect opportunity for you who want to work in an international company while maintaining a family-like atmosphere and a strong sense of community. With us, you will be surrounded by experts, and together we form a company that is a leader in the lighting industry.
Why Fagerhult Belysning?
With us, you have the space to influence, test new ideas, and contribute to a culture where curiosity is encouraged and collaboration is highly valued. You will also have a present and engaged manager who believes in feedback, openness, and joint development. Here you get support and freedom in the same package – a climate where you can both grow and dare to grow.
About the position
As a Lighting Designer with us, you will be part of an engaged team of 12 wonderful colleagues working with customers throughout Sweden.
Your main focus is to design new lighting solutions based on customer wishes by developing calculations, drawings, and visualized project proposals.
You will have a close dialogue with the customer and be involved from the inquiry to the submitted lighting proposal with quotation.
In your projects, you will also have close contact with our sales organization to achieve the best possible results together. You will work with a wide variety of assignments, both in the Indoor and Outdoor segments, as well as a range of clients in the private and public sectors.
What do we offer you?
Fagerhult Belysning is a leading European company with about 5000 employees, yet the family-like feeling of a small company remains. Here you become part of a dynamic team where we all work to meet our customers' requests and provide the best possible customer experience.
There is always the opportunity for continuous learning or to specialize in something you find particularly interesting, as you will be surrounded by experts in various fields to learn from. We are a large corporation with the potential to offer interesting career paths if you have ambitions.
The location is in Fagerhult with the possibility of remote work two days a week. The position is a fixed-term employment for 1 year.
Who are you?
We would like you to have previous experience in lighting planning and lighting or a relevant academic education. Another option is that you have an electrical engineering background and feel ready to try a new area in design.
The most important thing for us is that you share our interest in lighting, our values, and want to be an important piece of the puzzle in creating an inspiring and healthy environment for our customers. We consider it an advantage if you have worked with the business system Jeeves or the programs AutoCAD and Dialux.
Swedish and basic English are important for succeeding in your role.
As a person, you are self-assured, curious, structured, solution-focused, and responsible.
You are comfortable with independent work while enjoying close collaboration with your colleagues. You thrive in an open atmosphere and want to live our values as a “Curious creator,” “Committed together,” and “Aim higher.” This is how we work, think, and grow – every day.
We look forward to welcoming you to the team!
Selection and interviews are ongoing, so please submit your application today!
