We are now looking for a new nursing colleague for a temporary position at the gastroenterology clinic in Helsingborg. Here we investigate and treat patients with gastroenterological diseases as well as patients with liver diseases. Investigations and follow-ups related to liver transplantation are also conducted here.

At our clinic, you and your colleagues work in a cross-professional team with a gastroenterologist and medical secretaries. We have close collaboration with dietitians, social workers, and physiotherapists. Together, we strive to provide our patients with the best possible care. Through our joint efforts, we make a difference. We care about our employees' well-being and ensure they feel involved in their work and workplace.

The clinic is currently located on the fourth floor of the hospital's main building.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will be offered an independent, developing, and varied job. You will have a central role for the clinic's patients. You will be one of four nurses working at the clinic. As a new employee, you will be introduced by and work alongside experienced colleagues. There are excellent opportunities for continuous professional development, including commissioned training. As a nurse with us, your responsibilities will include providing information regarding medication initiation, performing infusion treatments, and working with telephone counseling. In your daily work, you will meet patients with various chronic conditions in the gastrointestinal tract and liver.

Our unit is currently in a development phase where you have significant opportunities to influence. We expect you to have an interest in further education and development, which also includes an interest in your own professional growth and actively contributing to it.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Your language skills correspond to at least level C1 in Swedish according to the Council of Europe's scale. You have experience in internal medicine and several years of work experience as a nurse. Experience in gastroenterology and/or outpatient work as well as telephone counseling is an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have experience working with Melior and/or PASiS.
