We are now looking for a receptionist for Home Hotel Drott in Karlstad who wants to be part of our family.

The hotel is located in a historic building from 1909 and is one of Karlstad's oldest hotels, situated in the heart of Karlstad. We offer 85 rooms, all of which have been renovated in recent years, and air conditioning has been installed in all rooms. At the top of the building, there are 3 conference rooms and a relaxation area. We treat all guests to breakfast and dinner, and in addition, we also have an à la carte restaurant, Drott Bar. We are ranked as one of Karlstad's best hotels, both on Tripadvisor and Booking.com. We are part of the hotel chain Strawberry, which offers great opportunities for development.

Your Responsibilities:

• You ensure that our guests are always well taken care of and attended to in the best way possible.
• You are the face of our hotel chain and are well versed in our brand and safety regulations.
• Working at the reception means that no day is the same, so it is important that you enjoy a fast-paced environment and have a solution-oriented attitude towards everything that happens. Shift and weekend work is included.

• Daily front office tasks from checking in to checking out our guests.
• You handle everything from bookings, payments, emails, and inquiries. All to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• You see upselling as a service to the guest.
• You work towards goals to achieve guest satisfaction in your department.
• You always deliver the highest possible quality and understand the importance of first and last impressions.
• You collaborate with colleagues to create a smooth and pleasant stay for all guests.

This is a permanent position at 70% with start date according to agreement. The position includes varying working hours, including evenings and weekends.

• You have an eye for detail and can make quick decisions when needed.
• You are used to working efficiently with administrative tasks and find it easy to learn many different systems.

Meritorious:

• Previous experience from hotel reception.
• Experience with Mews or other hotel booking systems.
