Job responsibilities

As an Operations Manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on the daily operations at the facility. You work data-driven with key figures such as inflow and outflow of materials (tons), sorting rate, productivity, and cost per ton. Through analysis of statistics and operational data, you identify areas for improvement and drive efficiency in processes and material flows. You are responsible for administration and reporting related to production, quality, and environmental requirements, and ensure that the operations comply with applicable legislation, permits, and internal procedures. Deviations and incidents are handled systematically with clear follow-up and action plans.

In the role, you also support and coach the yard staff in their work with correct sorting, safety, and goal fulfillment. You have broad contact areas and serve as an advisory party to customers, suppliers, and authorities. You work in a structured, quality-conscious manner and are a role model in safety and systematic improvement work.

  • Lead and follow up on daily operations

  • Be responsible for administration, reporting, and regulatory compliance

  • Handle deviations and drive actions

  • Support staff and collaborate with customers and authorities

Education, experience, and personal qualities

  • Several years of leadership experience with personnel and result responsibility, preferably from operational and production environments such as logistics, industry, construction, and/or facilities

  • Driver's license B

  • Fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing
