In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting the demand for spare parts and optimizing inventory levels in close collaboration with various business areas and Service Operations & Technology. You will be an active part of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and contribute to the development of a cloud-based planning solution on Azure, which is central to the organization's future working methods. The assignment combines advanced analysis, business understanding, and technical development in a data-driven environment.

You will analyze large datasets to create accurate forecasts and optimization models for inventory management. Through simulations and data-driven analyses, you will identify areas for improvement and present insights in a clear and business-oriented manner. You will collaborate cross-functionally within the S&OP process and contribute to the continuous development of planning tools and methods in an agile and cloud-based environment.

You will deliver improved forecasting accuracy, optimized inventory levels, and decision support that enhances operational efficiency and delivery capability. You will also contribute to the further development of planning solutions in Azure as well as reporting and visualization in Power BI.

• Very strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets

• Solid experience in SQL and Python

• Experience in Supply Chain and Inventory Management

• Experience working in an Azure environment

• Good knowledge of Power BI

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Logistics, or equivalent

• Experience with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

• Experience with simulations and optimization models

• Experience with agile methodologies

• Experience with AWS
