DFDS Professionals is now looking for a Working Team Leader for our warehouse operations in Borås. We are looking for someone who is confident in their leadership, stress-resistant, flexible, and driven to develop both people and operations.

Your Responsibilities

As a Working Team Leader, you play a central role in daily operations. You are responsible for leading and supporting the team while actively participating in the operational work at the warehouse.

Leadership and Team Development

• Lead, coach, and motivate employees in daily work.
• Plan, prioritize, and distribute tasks based on operational needs.
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive work climate.
• Ensure the team works towards set goals and KPIs.
• Support employees in their development and contribute to a strong team spirit.

Operational Work

• Actively participate in daily operations and work alongside the team in the warehouse.
• Drive forklifts and handle warehouse tasks as needed.
• Ensure that routines, quality standards, and safety requirements are followed.
• Work proactively to solve challenges that arise in daily operations.

Communication and Collaboration

• Act as the link between employees and management.
• Collaborate with other departments to create efficient and smooth processes.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive changes and make decisions when the situation requires it.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in leadership within warehousing, logistics, or similar operations.
• Is a present and attentive leader who builds trust within the team.
• Is stress-resistant and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Is flexible and thrives in a changing environment.
• Has strong problem-solving skills and is willing to make independent decisions.
• Has experience working towards goals and monitoring KPIs.
• Holds a forklift license (A+B).
• Has good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Is computer literate and has experience with administrative tasks.

Qualifications that are a plus

We consider it a significant advantage if you have experience with:

• Working in WMS systems, such as LEA or similar warehouse management systems.
• Booking systems within transport and logistics.
• Customs handling and administrative processes related to import and export.
• Transport planning and coordination of goods flows.
• Staff planning and staffing issues.
• Education in logistics, warehousing, or equivalent experience.

Working Hours

Working hours vary between day and evening shifts depending on operational needs. During late summer and autumn, the majority of working hours will be scheduled for evening shifts. We are therefore looking for someone who is flexible and able to adapt to the operational schedule.

You are employed by us at DFDS Professionals but work at our customers' sites.
