About the role

Working as a Class C truck driver at Thomas Betong means you are responsible for preparing deliveries and driving concrete mixer trucks to customers around Gothenburg. The role also includes routine maintenance, minor repairs, and cleaning of your concrete mixer truck and associated equipment. The work is performed both independently and in collaboration with colleagues. Working hours are scheduled from 06:30 to 15:30.

This is a part-time position where we are looking for someone who can work 06:30-15:30, Wednesdays to Fridays, between weeks 19-28, and then transition to full-time during weeks 29-32 for the summer period. The role is based on the assumption that you, as the applicant, have another main occupation (e.g., studies, part-time employment, etc.) of at least 50%, as this employment only covers occasional days.

In your role as a Class C driver, your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing for deliveries
• Driving concrete mixer trucks
• Maintenance of equipment

About you

We are looking for someone who has a Class C driver's license and a valid YKB (Professional Driver's Qualification). Experience working as a Class C driver with a focus on safety, as well as experience with concrete mixer trucks, is considered an asset. There may be some physical tasks involved, so you should not be unfamiliar with physical work. You value order and structure and have the ability to handle periods of high workload. You are a good team player and put the customer first.

Furthermore, we see that you are structured, detail-oriented, and social. Additionally, you are responsible and have the ability to prioritize where needed.

Important requirements for the role are:

• Class C driver's license and YKB certificate
• Access to a car to commute to work
• Good teamwork skills and focus on safety
• Previous experience driving trucks
