About the Role

As a Section Manager, you will belong to the South region, which stretches from Bohuslän, Halland, Småland, Blekinge, and Skåne. You will also conduct business in Denmark and become part of our management team for Local Project and Engineering South. Within our area of responsibility, we work on projects and services primarily in Project Management, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechanics, Piping, HVAC, Maintenance, Health, and Safety.

We are part of the Process Industries Sweden division, where we have all the disciplines and technical expertise required to manage all types of projects, from T&M to EPC and EPCM projects in the process industry. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the section's operations in terms of personnel, business, marketing, growth, and profitability. Your task will be to lead a sustainably high-performing section with high competence and delivery capacity, which includes goal-oriented work with everything from service development, marketing, and sales to recruitment and development of our employees. The most important thing is to ensure that our employees thrive and develop through your coaching leadership. Furthermore, you will have a strong focus on managing existing customer relationships, creating new business opportunities, and developing new contacts.

Requirements

As a Section Manager, you are driven by challenges and are a business-oriented team player with competence and experience in the field. You have a strong desire to continue developing customer relationships and the organization further. In addition to your interest in business, you are also driven by nurturing and developing our staff. To succeed in this role, you have the ability to create and seize opportunities as they arise, and you view change and development as something positive.

• You have experience in leadership and personnel responsibility.
• You have sales experience and are used to interacting with customers.
• You have previously had budget and financial responsibility.
• You have a technical university degree or equivalent.

To be successful in this role, you have an established network in the region that you actively utilize. You need to have a portion of humility and see collaboration as the key to success. As a person, you are self-driven, clear, and communicative. You are coaching in your leadership style and have good people skills.

The role requires that you have good knowledge of Swedish and English and hold a B driver's license as travel in the job is typically required.

Additional Information

You will belong to AFRY's division Process Industries and work in the segment Local Projects & Engineering South, which stretches from Malmö to Lysekil. We already have a very strong presence on the west coast and are driving several large projects within the process industry with project commitments and services in areas such as Project Management, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechanics, Piping, Health and Safety, and HVAC. Now we want to expand all the way down to Skåne and are looking for someone who wants to join us on an exciting journey!
