Summer Temporary Positions in Social Psychiatry
We are now looking for summer temporary staff in social psychiatry who want a fun and developing job.
Within our operations, we have Björnbacken's accommodation and housing support, the Housing Support Team, Lekullen's service housing and housing support, the Activity House, and the Support and Dependency Team.
As staff in social psychiatry, you will support our users with mental and neuropsychiatric disabilities. You will work both within the accommodation and with housing support for users living in ordinary housing. The support varies depending on the needs of different individuals. It can be anything from motivational support to carry out household tasks, accompanying users to medical appointments, or support to break social isolation by going for a walk or engaging in recreational activities. In some cases, care work and assistance with personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and laundry may be involved. The support is organized based on joint planning where the user directs their goals, and the work aims to lead to as independent a life as possible.
The summer period extends from the week of Midsummer until mid/late August. It is an advantage if you can work most of this period. The working hours vary between approximately 80-100%. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and in some cases, sleeping on-call.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with completed upper secondary education or completed/ongoing post-secondary education, for example: social worker, behavioral scientist, treatment pedagogue, support assistant, nursing assistant, or other relevant education for the position.
If you have experience working with mental disabilities, we consider it an advantage. Since you need to communicate clearly with our users and be responsible for documentation regarding the users, you need to have a good command of the Swedish language. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
We are looking for someone who is empathetic, responsible, and good at taking initiative. You can work independently with varying tasks where daily planning can change quickly. You are a secure person with a good approach and pedagogical attitude in meetings with users. Of course, you have an interest in the target group, and you see possibilities, progress, and believe in people's ability to develop. If you enjoy motivational work, structure, network building, and supporting a meaningful everyday life, this could be the assignment for you!
Warm welcome with your application!
Good to know

Please note that the process will be interrupted if the language test is not passed. You will need to identify yourself with Bank-ID to take the language test.
Your new workplace
The Health and Care Administration consists of four departments: Assistance and Health, Functional Support, Elderly Care, and Support and Development. The Health and Care Committee is politically responsible for the administration's work. Our operations involve providing care, support, and service to younger and older individuals and to those in need of support. We also provide certain health and medical care. The vision is that our efforts should be carried out safely, securely, with dignity, and with influence.
Within the functional support department, we offer support and assistance in everyday life to children and adults with disabilities through services such as housing with special services, personal assistance, foster homes, short-term stays for children and youth, daily activities, and housing support. The foundation for the support is that the person should be able to live and participate in society like everyone else.
Regardless of the operation, you will become part of a warm, competent, and solution-focused team where we work closely with colleagues and users. We offer a varied workday!
