We are now looking for a female personal assistant who wants to work with a five-year-old girl with Charge syndrome. She lives in Gothenburg with her family. In the role of assistant, you will make a difference in the girl's and her family's lives. You will have the chance to help a person live a life on the same terms as others as much as possible.

The job involves working as a personal assistant to a girl with Charge syndrome who has extensive care needs. She has, among other things, a tracheostomy and PEG. The work includes everything from personal care, intimate hygiene, transfers, use of various aids, motor training, and physiotherapy, assistance with activities, etc. There is supervision around the clock, as well as double assistance. The workplace is in the girl's home and wherever she is located.

The working hours are scheduled both during the day and evening, as well as nights, Monday-Sunday. We would also like you to be able to work with short notice if needed, due to illness, etc.

As you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for your specific client, it is important to have a good work ethic where everyone supports each other and can work with short notice if needed, due to illness, etc. We also expect you to be available during the summer and holiday periods.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We would like you to have a flexible and independent working style and be able to easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good skills in documentation and maintain a professional approach. You should have a genuine interest and feeling for caring for people. Other qualities that are beneficial for the job are being energetic, patient, observant, empathetic, flexible, and responsible. You should be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important. It is a great merit if you have experience working in personal assistance.
