JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a summer substitute with us, you will work as a support assistant. As a support assistant, you will provide support in the individual's home and daily life. This includes helping with personal hygiene such as showering, toilet visits, and dressing/undressing. Other tasks include providing support with household chores such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and leisure activities. The staff's goal is to contribute together to strengthen the care recipient's ability to actively participate in community life and live and reside under safe conditions, creating a meaningful everyday life. Daily activities are guided by the individual's needs, conditions, and wishes.

Working within social services means that you perform interventions according to the Act on Special Services (LSS) and the Social Services Act, care, and support interventions, and possibly perform health and medical tasks on delegation.

You will receive a good introduction with shadowing, all to create security for you when performing your tasks with us this summer. If the job requires medication management, you will be called for training.

Working hours are varied and scheduled, and you may work days, evenings, and weekends. We also have night shifts, and some workplaces have on-call shifts. The exact times vary depending on where you will work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• At the time of employment, have a criminal record check performed for work within LSS link (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/barn-med-funktionsnedsattning/)

Meritorious:
• B driver's license
• Qualified vocational education (KY) in the field of disability
• Leisure leader training
• Nursing program
• Child and leisure program
• Education focused on social psychiatry or other education deemed equivalent
• Work experience with various disabilities, such as physical, mental, or intellectual impairments, as well as knowledge of autism spectrum disorders
