About the role of property technician

As a property technician, you play an important role for our tenants and are an ambassador for Rikshem in our residential areas. You are there when the tenant needs us. You are responsible for incoming error reports, inspections, and rounds of your properties. You plan and organize your work based on Rikshem's routines and processes in close collaboration with property managers and all other colleagues in your team.

A typical week at work:

• you perform corrective repairs and maintenance
• you have contact with tenants
• you contact and are responsible for following up with contractors
• you conduct rounds in our property areas
• you carry out apartment inspections
• you place orders for maintenance as needed and follow up on completed work
• you work on energy efficiency and review technical systems in the building

When it comes to experience and skills, we are looking for someone who has:

• worked in a role with a lot of customer contact
• previous experience from a practical or technical job
• good computer skills and the ability to understand digital systems
• good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as well as basic knowledge of English
• a B driver's license

It’s a plus if you have:

• worked in a similar role or have previous experience in electrical, plumbing, or appliances
• a basic understanding of property maintenance/technology
• post-secondary education in property technology
• an understanding of energy efficiency
• experience with the business system Vitec
