About the Job

Jämtkraft Elnät works to make one of Sweden's most interruption-free electricity grids even better. Currently, we perform about half of all maintenance without interruptions. To enable this, the Elnät Service department works with ongoing maintenance, investments, and new construction of the electricity grid within the voltage range of 0.4-220 kV within our distribution area.

As a Distribution Electrician with us, you play an important role in ensuring that our society functions. You will, among other things, build new and modify existing power lines and transformer stations within the voltage range of 0.4-220 kV. Part of the job involves troubleshooting and repairing lines in case of interruptions. In the long run, on-call duty may be included in the position.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is a distribution electrician, a trained electrical installer with work experience, or has equivalent experience that we consider comparable.

As a person, you are a problem solver who does not hesitate to take initiative and has a strong safety awareness. You enjoy working independently while valuing collaboration and understanding the importance of working together in a team. As a distribution electrician, you will meet many different people, so it is important that you are communicative and have an easy time making new contacts and building good relationships. You have the ability to lead, plan, and delegate work.

Jämtkraft operates in a socially important sector. Therefore, the employment may require that you, as an applicant, need to be placed in a security class.

A driver's license B is a requirement, but additional qualifications are welcome.
