Operations Technician at Östersund Municipality

Common Tasks

As an operations technician, you are a key person in the work of operating, maintaining, and developing our sewage treatment plants, pump stations, and vehicle gas facilities. You will be involved in daily operations and actively contribute to the development of the business. The role also involves driving improvement work in existing facilities and participating in new construction and renovation projects.

• Operation, maintenance, and optimization of the municipality's sewage facilities.
• Identification and resolution of technical faults.
• Participation in development projects to improve facilities or build new ones.
• Collaboration with colleagues to advance professional development and promote an inclusive work environment.
• On-call duty may be included in the position.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with a university degree in process industry, water management, maintenance technology, or equivalent competence.

• A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Meritorious:

• Experience in water management or similar operations
• Knowledge of process technology
• Electrical knowledge
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment
• Computer literacy
• SCADA systems & maintenance systems

The employment requires consent to a security review and placement in security class 3.
