is looking for Hot Kitchen Manager for the store kitchen

ICA Kvantum in Skövde is a family business with about 70 employees. We are constantly working to be Skövde's best grocery store, for those who want to live a little better.

We are in a phase of development and renewal to create and develop our store into Skaraborg's most modern grocery store with a focus on food and meal solutions.

As the Hot Kitchen Manager with us, you will be involved and oversee the hot kitchen area concerning operations, purchasing, product development, and inspiration together with the fresh goods sales manager.

Responsibilities:

• You are one of the chefs in the store kitchen's production team where the production consists of hot food for the lunch buffet, portion dishes, pies, soups, appetizers, desserts, sides, salads, sandwich cakes, sandwiches, grilled items, party trays, buffets, and assist in the manual sales department where we currently sell fish and delicacies.
• Together with the sales manager, plan the daily operations in the hot kitchen area, which includes production and packing of portion dishes, care assortment, hot lunch, customer orders, and production of various sides.
• Be responsible for and contribute to maintaining sales pressure in the department, sales plan together with the sales manager, vary the assortment according to the season and set plan.
• Ensure that the ingredient list for all food we produce is accurate according to recipes.
• Be involved in purchasing raw materials for hot kitchen production.
• Be involved in self-control and ensure that it is followed in production.
• Be proactive in developing an assortment that inspires customers with news and seasonal offerings from the kitchen together with the sales manager.

An important part of the job is to work on efficiency, structure in the kitchen and the warehouse, contribute a lot of energy to the kitchen team, and have a good sense of order.

We are looking for someone who:

• has experience in cooking from the grocery trade or restaurant

Qualifications:

• Experience in a leadership position in the restaurant industry or grocery trade
• Good knowledge of store economics/business economics
• Is structured and has a good quality awareness.

As the Hot Kitchen Manager, you will report to the fresh goods sales manager.

The position is a part-time position of about 95%. We apply permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months. The start date for the position is immediate or by agreement.

Salary according to agreement.
