Job Description

• Plan the work and prepare food orders as far as possible.
• Prepare and arrange salad for meals.
• Serve food to employees and external and internal guests.
• Organize and return containers to suppliers at agreed times, wash dishes, and set up the dining room according to an established schedule.
• Be responsible for maintaining good hygiene standards so that the premises are suitable for storing and handling food.
• Contribute to ensuring that rules, routines, and policies are followed regarding food handling.
• Be responsible for self-control according to routines.
• Handle orders and supplier contacts related to the dining room.
• Mail handling.
• Serve snacks and breakfast during meetings and conferences.
• Be responsible for arrangements and decorations during holidays.
• Care for the aquarium.
• Part of laundry service for production.
• Work towards improved routines and contribute to reducing negative environmental impact.
• When needed and possible, handle parts of ordering and various administrative registrations.
• Perform light cleaning of the dining room and adjacent areas and, when needed and possible, parts of other areas.

Qualifications

• Administrative tasks.
• Daily preparation for needs for the upcoming day and, based on the work schedule and times, perform orders for materials and supplies, etc. Participate and plan for improvements in the dining room and adjacent areas.

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, social and attentive, positive, and has a professional demeanor, an eye for presentation and hygiene, takes initiative and responsibility, is comfortable in meeting different people, has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written (English is a plus). Enjoys independent work as you will mostly be alone in the kitchen.

Education

• High school education in hotel & restaurant or equivalent.
• Knowledge of food handling is an advantage.

Experience

• Experience in a service role is an advantage.
• Some administrative experience.
• Comfortable in an Office environment.
• Knowledge of food waste.
• Good experience working with people.
• Knowledge of food hygiene (HACCP) is an advantage.
