As a specialist nursing assistant, you work just like a trained nursing assistant in a care team consisting of care staff, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and unit managers.

Your tasks consist of regular care duties in a department, but you should also be able to assist throughout the entire operation.

As an employed specialist nursing assistant with us, you will:

• Participate in the introduction of new employees
• Develop and support the work team in social documentation
• Guide in approach and attitudes based on person-centered care and support
• Work with systematic quality work

The job we offer is a permanent position at 100% with 20% dedicated to the specialist assignment. Working hours are scheduled with daytime work and every other weekend. Hässleholm municipality wants to utilize your entire competence and offers you full-time employment, but if you also want to work less than full-time, you are welcome to submit an application. If necessary, we collaborate with nearby operations, which means that work at more than one workplace may occur. You always have a primary workplace where you spend the majority of your working hours.

Who are you?

You who are applying are a trained specialist nursing assistant. It is advantageous if you have work experience in elderly care and extended delegation. You should be approved in all courses with specializations such as dementia, palliative care, elderly care, psychiatry, or other areas that the employer assesses as equivalent.

You have good communication skills, both orally and in writing. You find it easy to collaborate and build good relationships as a large part of the work involves creating security and contact with our care recipients, their relatives, and other professionals. To succeed in your role, you need to be flexible, clear, and structured, as well as work goal-oriented.

You have good computer skills in various systems and you should have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. We are looking for someone who is positive, responsible, and has the ability to adapt to new conditions, and you share the values and attitudes described in our employee and leadership policy.

We conduct language tests for positions in elderly care, so you may need to take a test before a potential employment.

To be employed as a nursing assistant with us, you need to present proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from an employer of permanent employment as a nursing assistant before July 1, 2023. Attach this to your application.
