Are you interested in endoscopy and gastroenterology? Then this is an opportunity for you!

Skaraborg's endoscopy clinic has a location in Skövde where acute and planned patient care is provided, and in Lidköping where planned patient care is the focus.

The two clinics work integrated based on a common patient waiting list. We perform colonoscopies, gastroscopies, sigmoidoscopies, ERCP, PEG insertions, and changing PEG to gastrostomy tubes. We also collaborate with surgery, operations, and the ear clinic.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant in the endoscopy clinic, you are an important team member, and your main tasks consist of assisting during the examinations conducted. In addition to assisting, you will inform and care for the patient before, during, and after the examination. Your tasks also include other routine tasks such as sampling, rinsing and instrument handling, restocking materials, and more. As a nursing assistant, you will also participate in the clinics' focus groups and improvement work.

There is now a need for nursing assistants in both Lidköping and Skövde. You will primarily be placed at one of the locations, but work at another location may occur in the position. There is also an opportunity for integrated collaboration with inpatient care to develop cooperation between outpatient and inpatient care.

Qualifications

You should be a trained nursing assistant. You are comfortable in patient-facing work, have a professional demeanor, and good ability to collaborate in a team. We see that you are engaged and involved in the clinic's goals, have a desire to develop, see opportunities, and are flexible.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
