Operations Technician at the Fortifications Agency in Bålsta

The Fortifications Agency is seeking an operations technician for the Bålsta operational district, where we oversee and maintain our properties in northern Stockholm. If you want to be part of our growth, we welcome your application!

Your Daily Life – Strengthening Sweden's Security

The operations of Region East are conducted in Stockholm, and this position is located in the Bålsta operational district.

You will work independently with the operation and maintenance of our property portfolio. This includes supervision and maintenance, self-checks in facilities, control, regulation, and monitoring systems, as well as corrective and planned maintenance of buildings and technical installations. You will also perform maintenance on associated infrastructure such as heating, electrical, water, and air treatment systems, as well as SBA work. The job also involves frequent customer and supplier contacts and working both individually and in a team. On-call duty and travel within the district are included in the position.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education in HVAC, electrical, ventilation, or construction. Alternatively, you have other training that we consider equivalent. You have experience in the operation, supervision, and maintenance of larger facilities and buildings. You possess good knowledge of administrative IT support systems and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in Swedish. Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as well as a B driver's license.

It is advantageous to have training or experience in control and regulation technology. If you have experience working in the defense sector, that is also a plus.
