Service Technician for Saab Muskö

Your Role

As a service technician with us, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of equipment that supports our workshops.

This includes responsibility for:

• Cars, trucks, mopeds, and bicycles
• Fixed machinery
• Hoists and other workshop equipment

You ensure that the equipment receives the right service at the right time, either through your own work or by contacting and coordinating with external suppliers. It is a varied role, as you will sometimes work with planned maintenance but also be able to handle urgent situations that arise.

The work may also involve participating in the docking of vessels and, if necessary, supporting the operations with various practical tasks - you are simply an important part of the daily operations.

Today, the service group consists of two employees, and we are now looking for a third colleague who wants to help strengthen the team.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is cheerful, positive, and organized with a genuine and passionate interest in technology.

You thrive in a role with significant responsibility and high demands for structure and accuracy. Collaboration is important to you, but you are also comfortable working independently and taking your own initiatives. Having order and tidiness is a given in your work.

Requirements

• High school education in workshop technology or equivalent
• Good basic computer skills
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• Driver's license B

Meritorious

• Knowledge in mechanics and welding
• Experience working with machines, cars, and trucks
• Experience in repair and load testing of equipment

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for specific citizenship.
