Working hours

The position is a temporary contract expected to last from 2026-03-01 to 2027-01-31.

Working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts with duty on 2 out of 5 weekends. We plan individual schedules that are adapted to the operations with 10-week intervals.

About us

In the Infectious Diseases Department, we care for patients of all ages, from children to adults, with varying diagnoses covering all types of infectious diseases. We are a unit focused on innovation and new thinking. Our operations are characterized by a strong commitment to quality and patient safety, which permeates both daily work and continuous development. In our modern facilities, all patient rooms are single rooms with an airlock both into the department and out to the outside.

The department is an educational care unit (UVE), which means we constantly work to maintain a good learning environment for students. Supervising nursing students and nursing assistants becomes an important part of the job after you have been professionally active for a year as a nurse.

The area of operation consists of, in addition to an infectious diseases department and outpatient clinic with needle exchange, an eye unit, a care hotel, and a dermatology/sexual health clinic. Our mission is to provide good and safe care to all our patients. Our work is characterized by quality, participation, and patient safety thinking. We work with continuous improvements to minimize unnecessary waiting and complications. We want to get it right from the start.

Your profile

We are looking for a licensed nurse with a few years of experience who is interested in working with us. Previous hospital experience is required for the position. You have a positive attitude, the ability to work across boundaries, and are independent. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, such as good communication, teamwork, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
