We are looking for part-time staff for our Garden Center!

Working in a castle environment surrounded by flowers and lush plants – who would say no to that? Together with our skilled gardeners and florists, we have created a green oasis in the countryside. Despite the rural location, we are strategically located near the E4 highway, making it easy for visitors to come here and realize their gardening dreams with our wide and appreciated assortment.

With us, you will become part of an energetic and dedicated team that is passionate about service and plants. The work is both varied and physical, so you need to enjoy staying active all day.

What does the job entail?

As part-time staff with us, you will:

• Work at the checkout and assist customers with advice and tips.
• Contribute to keeping the Garden Center clean, organized, and inviting.
• Water and care for flowers and plants, both indoors and outdoors.
• Unpack goods and keep the stock organized.
• Participate in the cultivation and care of cut flowers.



Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for plants and service! We prefer candidates with education in gardening or those who have started their high school education in gardening. Here are some qualities we value:

• Social and outgoing: You enjoy meeting people and are passionate about providing customers with a personal and memorable experience.
• Proactive seller: You see the customer's needs and suggest solutions with enthusiasm and knowledge.
• Physical joy of work: You enjoy working outdoors and appreciate a job that can be both challenging and physically demanding.
• Thirst for knowledge: You have good knowledge of plants' needs, care, and cultivation, and a desire to learn more about gardening and the latest trends.
• Flexibility: You are versatile and enjoy varying between different tasks, from planting and watering to assisting customers and managing cash flow.
• Team player with drive: You take responsibility for your tasks but also contribute to team spirit and help colleagues when needed.

Practical information:

Period: April-September

Extent: You will work every other weekend during spring and autumn, as well as during the time our regular staff is on vacation, totaling about 4 weeks during the summer (75%).

Employment type: Fixed-term employment
