About the Business

In modern neurology, more investigation and treatment are conducted in outpatient care.

New medications are used to treat and slow down serious chronic conditions such as MS. At our neurology clinic with day care, we investigate, care for, and treat patients with many different neurological conditions. We have a large planned outpatient activity as well as a subacute clinic. Day care primarily involves infusion treatments managed by our nurses. We have specialized teams for MS, Parkinson's disease, Epilepsy, ALS, and brain tumors.

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced assistant nurse who can work independently in a multidisciplinary team. The work at the neurology clinic as an assistant nurse is versatile; you should be able to answer patients in 1177, handle phone calls via TeliaAce, assist with lumbar punctures, take blood samples, and perform other clinic tasks.

The position is a daytime position but may involve some evening work during certain periods.

We work with the patient in focus and plan care based on each individual patient. In that work, you as an engaged and attentive employee are very important! We want our unit to be characterized by openness, community, good collaboration, and respect for each other.

We are looking for someone who;

• Is an experienced assistant nurse, preferably with experience in neurology. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
• If you have experience in appointment booking and telephone advice, it is an advantage
• Takes responsibility and has a holistic view
• Is interested in professional development, which occurs during working hours
• Is innovative and wants to help develop care in neurology

This means that you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title of assistant nurse in healthcare and social services.
