About Us

Welcome to the Emergency Center in Bäckefors.

Our mission is to provide good care when regular health centers are closed. Patients with both minor and more serious acute issues that cannot wait until the next day when health centers are open come to us. Everything from wounds and burns, suspected fractures, allergies, respiratory issues to various types of infections.

Work at the emergency center is scheduled for evenings and weekends. The operation is open weekdays from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM, weekends and public holidays from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. We staff with two nurses and one doctor for each shift. About the Job

Your tasks at the emergency center cover a wide range of responsibilities in the field of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You will work with triage and reception work, as well as other common tasks at an emergency center such as telephone triage, sample collection, wound dressing, medication administration, as well as EKG and blood pressure measurements.

About You

You are a licensed nurse with experience in emergency care, health centers, emergency centers, or similar operations.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks. In your work, you will meet many patients in acute situations, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. You should be able to work independently, but it is also essential to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts.

The position is a summer temporary position from June 15 to August 16. Interviews at the emergency center will be conducted on an ongoing basis.

About the Recruitment Process

The selection process occurs in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates for a phone interview. Then the hiring manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the clinic.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
