Regional Key Account Manager – Kiruna
Do you want to be part of driving the transition from traditional recycling to circular comprehensive solutions? Stena Recycling is now looking for a Regional Key Account Manager in Kiruna. We operate in a changing industry – from classic waste management to being a strategic partner that contributes with value-creating, circular, and sustainable recycling solutions. For those who want to work closely with business and long-term with some of the region's most significant industrial companies, the role offers great influence and responsibility. In this role, you will continuously analyze, implement, develop, and follow up on Stena Recycling's offerings towards customers.
About the role
As a Regional Key Account Manager, you will primarily be responsible for developing and deepening the collaboration with Stena Recycling's two largest customers in the region. These are customers with complex needs, large volumes, and high demands for circular and business solutions.
You will drive customer work at the management level, analyze the customer's operations and needs, and identify how Stena Recycling can contribute to the customer's business and sustainability goals. The role has a clear focus on further developing existing strategic collaborations while being curious about identifying and developing new business opportunities.
The work is carried out in close collaboration with the regional and central sales organization and includes, among other things:
- Responsibility for the business, delivery, and profitability of the customer portfolio
- Establishment, implementation, and follow-up of customer plans and agreements
- Leading and participating in customer teams
- Prospecting and developing new business opportunities
- Following up on sales and activity goals at the customer, region, and individual levels
You will preferably be based in the Kiruna area. Travel is included in the position, and a company car is offered.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with a business-oriented approach, who enjoys customer dialogue and has the ability to connect the customer's needs with solutions that create value for both the business and sustainability.
As a person, you are business-minded, proactive, and accustomed to adapting to different situations and conditions. You work consultatively and solution-oriented, with the ambition to truly understand the customer's operations and challenges. You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and work systematically towards set goals.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
- Experience in value-based B2B sales where the business involves multiple decision-makers and stakeholders, preferably with elements of service sales
- The ability to work both strategically and operationally
- Good familiarity with CRM systems and the Office suite
- Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
- A valid driver's license (B)
Experience in project management and a background in recycling, industry, sustainability, or related fields is advantageous.
Experience from companies with a strong sales culture and a clear sales process is also a plus. The role suits someone with strong drive who is ready to take the next step in their career and develop in a KAM role.
The role involves responsibility for two larger strategic key customers, where approximately 80% of the time is spent developing existing collaborations and about 20% on new customer acquisition and development of new business.

You will be offered a key role in developing and optimizing the customer portfolio in the region, where you work closely with engaged colleagues and the production manager in Kiruna, as well as having close collaboration with the business in daily operations. The role reports to the sales manager for Norrbotten and Västerbotten, and you will be part of a dedicated sales team of about 15 employees, where knowledge sharing and collaboration are a natural part of everyday life.
