We are looking for a certified teacher in crafts, primarily teaching textile crafts. The position is 50% with a start in the autumn semester and teaching grades 3-9.

We offer a position at Casa Montessori in Partille. The school is the only independent school in the municipality, and we have preschool, F-class, grades 1-9, and after-school care, totaling about 225 children/students. Casa Montessori in Partille has been operating for over thirty years. The school is based on Maria Montessori's pedagogy, which is evident as some classes work in age-integrated groups of about 20 children/students. Our children and students are trained to become independent and self-reliant, trusting their ability to solve the situations that arise in life. The school's student health services also support this, with a school psychologist, counselor, special educator, and school nurse.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for an engaged teacher with the qualification to teach textile crafts. We hope you have a pedagogical university education and experience working in primary school. Training in Montessori pedagogy is an advantage.

You will work with small student groups (about 10/group in crafts) in grades 3-9 and contribute to their academic and social development by fostering good relationships between children and adults.
