Care Assistants Needed for Home Care Area 3 in Mariestad

Home Care Area 3 in Mariestad is part of elderly care and includes the groups Ekudden and Guldvingen in the southwestern part of the city. Here, 25 employees work to provide the best possible support to our residents!

We are now looking for five care assistants, three for permanent positions and two for six-month temporary contracts. If you are a positive, flexible, and attentive team player who is passionate about making a difference, you could be one of the candidates we are looking for!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities consist of personal care, delegated healthcare tasks such as venipuncture and extensive wound dressings, as well as service and daily chores. The work also involves close collaboration with planners, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and unit managers. The work is largely independent, but double staffing may also occur.

We work with fixed care contacts and advocacy assignments where you as an employee have the opportunity to grow with the responsibility while also being part of the development of the organization.

The home care groups are based at Mariegärdes Väg 7. We operate on a 14-week schedule with shifts during the day and evening, and you will also work three out of seven weekends. The schedule also includes resource shifts to cover for absence at other workplaces.

The positions we are looking for are five in total, three of which are permanent positions and two are six-month temporary contracts. Start date is as soon as possible by agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position, we are looking for you who are a trained care assistant and preferably have work experience from home care.

We seek someone who is attentive, positive, and confident in individual meetings with clients and has a good ability to work independently with care tasks. Your inspiring and positive attitude contributes to a good community and joy among both residents and your colleagues.

You should be flexible as the work is based on close collaboration with your colleagues where you are expected to step in and support as needed in all three groups, even in other areas through resource shifts.

We would like you to have experience in meeting individuals with mental health issues. You are also expected to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. This is important as many of your tasks involve receiving instructions and conveying information accurately and clearly.

We assume that you have a certain digital maturity in computer and mobile use as we utilize these as work tools.

A B driver's license is required for the position.
