About the Job

We are now looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with a specialization in psychiatry or training as a district nurse, to join the support team in Hisingen.

We work with individuals aged 0-65 who have a congenital or acquired disability and who live in residences with special support and services. Many of them also have daily activities in day services. In the team, you will have several nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists working towards the same goals. We have strong collegial support and collaboration, encouraging a creative, solution-oriented approach to make a difference for our patients.

We offer you an independent role where you can plan your workday and consult colleagues as needed. As a nurse, you will be responsible for setting goals, planning, leading, and following up on care in consultation with patients and care staff. You will work according to a basic schedule, which means that you will primarily work daytime Monday to Friday, combined with some weekday evenings and every fourth weekend.

The assignments are carried out as home visits across a range of residences with special support and services where you will assess both mental and physical conditions. Patients' health care needs vary from preventive to therapeutic medical interventions, contributing to a varied and stimulating work environment. We focus on providing person-centered care and support. You will be an important person in many patients' daily lives.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse. It is also considered an advantage if you have a specialization in psychiatry or training as a district nurse. We prefer that you have previous experience working with the target group, patients with disabilities. Since we operate in a large geographical area, a B driver's license is required.

You can work independently and make decisions within the framework of your assignment and remain calm in pressured and difficult situations. At the same time, it is also important that you are collaborative and can work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You have good communication skills and can adapt your information according to the situation and the patient's needs.
