As a summer substitute with us, you have the opportunity to work according to a schedule. You can also choose to work by the hour, meaning you can step in as a substitute when needed. Our employees distribute their vacation over all three summer months, which means there is an opportunity to work in June, July, and August. There is also a possibility to work as a substitute already in the spring.
Our operations within social psychiatry are located in central Tomelilla. With us, you can work with varying target groups within different operations such as independent living and service housing.
In housing support, you work for individuals within the LSS group in ordinary housing. Staff is available every day of the week between 07:00 and 22:00. This provides good and broad service and security for our users in ordinary housing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work within social psychiatry may involve helping adults with multiple interventions who have suffered from mental illness, such as severe depression, panic anxiety, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, substance abuse, and various neuropsychiatric disabilities.
You should have an approach and response that provides individually tailored support in daily living, which means that interventions should meet the individual's mental, physical, and social needs. The work involves promoting the individual's abilities and independence.
We work based on varying support measures developed together with the individual, for example, support in getting to their employment, planning, and motivational conversations. The work includes supporting the individual in performing household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping, as well as personal care. You will have regular contact with relatives, representatives, and other people who are significant to the user.
You work daily with AAC, communication aids, and cognitive support as a natural part of the job.
We operate based on self-determination, influence, participation, accessibility, and independence. These guiding principles are reflected in the LSS (Act on Special Support). Staff should encourage the individual to develop their independence.
We offer you:
- An independent, responsible, and varied job.
- An opportunity to gain good knowledge and experience in various operations.
- An opportunity to meet many new colleagues with good competence and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome both those with and without experience. We offer an individualized introduction and an opportunity to learn and grow into your tasks. A prerequisite for you to thrive is a genuine interest and curiosity for care and support work.
As a person, you need to be secure, responsible, flexible, and have a good attitude in your work. The assignment places high demands on good collaboration as you will have daily contact with users, colleagues, relatives, and managers.
If you lack education, you will be titled support assistant; for the title support assistant, one of the following qualifications is required:
