Personal Assistant Needed for Active 11-Year-Old

Do you love outings, swimming, biking, and a lively everyday life?

I am an 11-year-old boy with a great zest for life and a lot of energy who is now looking for a safe, calm, and active personal assistant for part-time work primarily on weekends.

The position suits you who are not looking for full-time or weekday work, but want to work regularly on weekends and possibly take extra shifts as needed. For the right person, there is an opportunity for more shifts in the future and perhaps more work during the summer.

You will be employed by Vivida Assistans, which is my assistance company, but the actual job will be performed at my home or wherever I am.

ABOUT ME

I live with CP, autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and epilepsy, but what stands out the most is my curiosity, social nature, and desire to be where things are happening.

I love:

• Outings and family adventures
• Watching trains
• Biking with a cargo bike
• Swimming, especially in the pool at home
• Being outdoors and active

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a personal assistant, you will be close in everyday life and support with:

• Care (hygiene, diaper changes, skincare)
• Medication and tube feeding (training provided)
• Play, swimming, outdoor activities
• Outings, parasports, and swimming
• The work is physically active, with close support and some lifting – always with care and respect.

As a new assistant, you will start by participating in activities with the family to get to know me in safe and fun contexts. This is a fun and meaningful assignment with a lot of movement.

I AM LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Is calm, secure, and has a warm demeanor
• Has very good Swedish in speech and writing
• Preferably has experience with children with disabilities
• Enjoys swimming, biking, and being outdoors
• Has good physical fitness
• Is a competent swimmer and has a bike (requirement)
• Has a driver's license (meritorious)
• Is not allergic or afraid of animals

WHAT WE OFFER

• NPF and interaction

WORKING HOURS AND EMPLOYMENT DEGREE

Initially, we would like you to work weekends with working hours from 10 AM to 1 PM or 11 AM to 2 PM. At first, we are looking for extra help as needed, but this may eventually expand into a smaller position.

YOUR SALARY

At Vivida, you as an assistant receive a fixed base salary per hour + vacation pay and any OB compensation. A collective agreement is in place.
