The Learning and Culture Administration in Nybro municipality operates preschools, preschool classes, primary schools, special primary schools, after-school care, high schools, and municipal adult education with SFI and special education for adults.

At the end of last year, we tested our systems and routines to be able to show movies again here in Nybro after a long pause in cinema operations.

Nybro Bio Folkan needs staff to cover screening days during 2026 and possibly longer.

We are now looking for three part-time employees for our cinema operations.

Currently, we see a need for at least three months ahead, but it may extend beyond that.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Nybro Bio Folkan needs staff to manage the kiosk on a screening day where they sell and pick up goods, make and sell popcorn. Handle the cinema ticket terminal and manage administration related to ticket handling, scan tickets, manage simpler technology, and otherwise perform the hospitality required for the task. Basic cleaning tasks may be included.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work as a cinema staff member, good knowledge of Swedish, basic English, and mathematics is primarily required. Additional language skills are an advantage.

Ability to provide good guest service, be outgoing, and solve any problems.

Experience in service or retail is an advantage. You must be at least 18 years old.

Basic economics: Knowledge of mathematics for cash work.

The flexibility to switch between different tasks, such as cleaning, kiosk work, and ticket sales.
