Your Role
In this key role, you will have a central position in the company, where you independently drive both sales and technical customer-specific solutions for our clients. The role combines business acumen with technical curiosity and is suitable for you who thrive in the intersection of sales and customer contact, technology, and some practical testing work. As a Mechanical Sales Engineer, you will become a technical partner for our customers throughout the entire process from the first contact to closure and follow-up.
Your tasks will include:
- Driving new and additional sales to both existing and new customers.
- Customer care and relationship building, where you are always close to the customer and keep your promises.
- Prospecting, booking meetings, customer visits where you conduct a needs analysis and analyze challenges.
- Carrying out the sales process from calculations, testing, prototype development, quotation work, negotiation, closure, and follow-up.
- Participation in trade fairs and other industry events where you represent the company and our technical solutions.
Close internal collaboration with design, production, and delivery organization.

We see that you have worked closely with production, design, service, or technology and therefore have a practical understanding of customers' everyday lives, their challenges, and how their decision-making processes look.
Formal Requirements
- Mechanical engineering education or equivalent experience
- Understanding of mechanics, materials science, tolerances, and reading technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of automation
- Experience in B2B sales and accustomed to driving the entire sales process from first contact to closure and follow-up.
- Driving license B
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Meritorious
- Experience with customized solutions with long sales cycles
Experience from the industry
Good to know
- Scope: Full-time, permanent
- Start: As soon as possible
- Working hours: Daytime Mon-Fri. Travel is included in the position
