Care Assistant

Safe Homecoming Investigation Service & Intensive Home Rehabilitation

Do you want to make a real difference in people's lives this summer? We are looking for engaged care assistants who want to work with Safe Homecoming Investigation Service and Intensive Home Rehabilitation during the summer.

With us, you get a meaningful and independent job where you are an important part of supporting individuals to regain their independence at home after hospital stays or illness. The investigation service means individualized and time-limited support at home after discharge from the hospital or short-term care. Intensive home rehabilitation focuses on training functions and abilities together with the individual to enable an independent life at home.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, and other colleagues in a close team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support and care at home
• Work rehabilitatively and motivationally based on set goals
• Perform delegated health and medical care tasks
• Document according to applicable routines
• Collaborate with the team regarding the individual's development

We work throughout the municipality in the clients'/patients' own homes.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• Are a trained care assistant and can provide proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through experience.
• Must master the Swedish language in speech and writing fluently. You should be able to document in the organization's system on a computer and phone daily.
• A driver's license for a car is a requirement as we have clients throughout the municipality and drive the municipality's cars in service. You should be able to cycle and walk in the local area.
• We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You need to be flexible and feel comfortable meeting people in vulnerable situations. It is not a problem for you to be alone with clients in their homes, sometimes for a longer period. Working hours are scheduled with various shifts between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM on weekdays and weekends.
