Attendo Kapellgärdet Norra is a modern nursing home located by the mosque in Uppsala, focusing on sports and spa. We have 99 apartments spread over 6 floors. Half of the places are dedicated to dementia care and the other half to nursing care.

Job Description

Our regular staff needs vacation this summer, therefore we are now recruiting summer substitutes. We are looking for you who are at least 18 years old and interested in making a difference in care for at least 4 weeks, during the period of June to August. Good language skills in Swedish (spoken/written) are a requirement. You will participate in care but also in creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals and contribute with various activities that brighten the everyday life of our elderly.

Your responsibilities include:

• Personal care according to the organization's routines based on the individual needs and wishes of the clients

• If necessary, assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc.

• Documenting and working according to decided interventions

• Cooperate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

• Certified nursing assistant education

About the recruitment process

Before any employment, a criminal record extract along with valid photo identification must be presented. If you are called for an interview, you need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
