Our Operations

We are a surgical unit specialized in urology that investigates and treats patients with diseases of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate, urethra, penis, and testicles. Patients come from our healthcare region, but in many cases, we also receive patients from other parts of Sweden and abroad. At our urology clinic, nurses, contact nurses, nursing assistants, urotherapists, sexologists, coordinators, and doctors work together.

With us, you will have the opportunity to develop as a nurse with the support of experienced colleagues and contribute to improvement work with the patient's best interests in focus.

Your Mission

Your tasks include working with your own clinic and providing telephone advice for urology patients. The work also involves administering various medications, injections or bladder instillations, catheter changes, and educating patients regarding self-catheterization (RIC). Assisting doctors with various examinations and treatments may also occur.

You will belong to a competent team where community and job satisfaction are also important.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse with at least a couple of years of experience in the profession. Competence and experience in urological care are meritorious but not a requirement.

Your Skills

We are looking for someone who can and wants to contribute with your knowledge and experience to our workgroup. As a person, you have good collaboration skills while enjoying working independently. You can organize and prioritize your tasks in a workplace with a varying pace of work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
