About the Company

GKN Aerospace Sweden is part of GKN Aerospace, which manufactures engine components, aircraft structures, cabin windows, wiring, and much more for many of the world's aircraft. The companies in the Aerospace division that work with parts for aircraft engines together form Engines, and at our facility in Trollhättan, we develop and manufacture advanced parts for engines for aircraft and space rockets. We also work with engine maintenance.

We have production facilities in Trollhättan, Kongsberg (Norway), Mexico, and the USA. We also have an engineering office in Bangalore, India, and offices in Stockholm (Public Affairs) and Gothenburg. The headquarters for Engines is located in Trollhättan.

Your Responsibilities

There is now an opportunity to start working with us at GKN Aerospace in Trollhättan. We want to expand the team with multi-process operators and are looking for a dedicated employee who wants to work together with us. In daily operations, we handle several different products from our entire factory. As a process operator, you will initially operate a machine that cleans the details before other processes. In the long run, more methods will be added, such as penetrant testing and/or X-ray testing, as we want flexibility in the team.

We have Lean as a natural part of our work, and you need to want to be part of our improvement work. You are responsible for:

• Ensuring we have the right quality in what we deliver
• Maintaining production pace and delivering accordingly
• Coming up with ideas and contributing to continuous improvements
• Working according to our safety regulations

Your Profile

You need to be communicative, service-oriented, and contribute to the team's well-being with an open and positive attitude. It is important that you find it easy to collaborate with others as we work in teams around the products. As a person, you are curious, responsible, and engaged.

• Qualifications/Experience
• 3-year vocational technical education or equivalent experience
• Basic Swedish and English in speech and writing
