About the Company

GKN Aerospace Sweden is part of GKN Aerospace, which manufactures engine components, aircraft structures, cabin windows, wiring, and much more for many of the world's aircraft. The companies in the Aerospace division that work with parts for jet engines together form Engines, and at our facility in Trollhättan, we develop and manufacture advanced parts for aircraft and rocket engines. We also work with engine maintenance.

We have production facilities in Trollhättan, Kongsberg (Norway), Mexico, and the USA. We also have an engineering office in Bangalore, India, and offices in Stockholm (Public Affairs) and Gothenburg. The headquarters for Engines is located in Trollhättan.

Your Responsibilities

Your primary task is to finalize weld seams after robotic welding and repairs after NDT, but flexibility to other tasks may also be required. We are looking for someone who values high quality in their work, is driven, enjoys working in a team, and collaborates to achieve weekly goals. Quality and maintaining pace are of great importance.

Qualifications

• 3-year high school education with a technical focus
• Experience in sheet metal processing and deburring
• Several years of experience in TIG welding with Titanium or Inconel
