Job Description

There is now an opportunity to start working with us at GKN Aerospace in Trollhättan. We want to expand the team with more process operators, starting with X-ray, and are now looking for a dedicated employee who wants to work together with us. In our daily work, we handle several different products from our entire factory. We primarily work with robot-controlled digital X-ray and image review, but manual X-ray is also performed. In this process, we work to ensure that our products have no deviations/indications using X-ray, which is a non-destructive testing method. In the long term, more methods may be added as we want flexibility in the team.

We have Lean as a natural part of our work, and you need to want to be part of our improvement efforts.

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring the right quality in what we deliver
• Maintaining production pace and delivering as promised
• Contributing ideas and participating in continuous improvements
• Working according to our safety regulations

Qualifications

You need to be communicative, service-oriented, and contribute to a positive group atmosphere with an open and positive attitude. It is important that you can easily collaborate with others as we work in teams around the products. As a person, you are curious, responsible, and engaged. Learning X-ray involves training and certification for the different X-ray levels available. Therefore, it is crucial to have a genuine interest in learning and absorbing new information. Due to the assignment and working methods within the department, we place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

• 3-year technical vocational education or equivalent experience
• Swedish and English in spoken and written form
• Approved vision test regarding near vision and color vision (requirement)
• Previous experience in non-destructive testing is a merit (not a requirement)
