Närlunda Health Center is a family-oriented health center located in the southern parts of Helsingborg with good train and bus connections. We have around 4000 registered patients and a dedicated team of about 20 employees. Our workgroup consists of specialists in general medicine, ST doctors, AT/BT doctors, district nurses, nurses, medical secretaries, receptionists, nursing assistants, social workers, dietitians, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

We also have a Child Health Center (BVC), diabetes clinic, and blood pressure clinic.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where you collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other professionals to provide safe and evidence-based care.

In the role of diabetes nurse, you will work closely with patients in care and follow-up of people with diabetes of all ages. You will also have the opportunity to help develop our asthma/COPD clinic.

In addition to your own clinic work with diabetes and asthma/COPD patients, common tasks at a health center, such as telephone advice and triage, may also be included.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse, with specialist training in diabetes care, and authorized to practice in Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you are welcome to have further training in asthma, allergies, and COPD. Language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are a requirement. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have work experience from primary care and/or experience working in the PMO journal system.
